Strings accompaniment
We will partner with any string instrumentalists you choose! Below are our preferred string instrumentalists that we have worked with in the past, and who have done an amazing job.
Nancy Kaphaem, Cellist
Since 1990 Nancy Kaphaem has been an active musician and teacher, performing on cello and bass as soloist & in string ensembles of duos, trios and quartets. Orchestral playing, arranging music for wedding ensembles and education outreach programs; playing improv cello in church praise bands, jazz, and blues ensembles; solo and choral singing are among the endeavors in music she enjoys. She plays with Fox Valley Symphony, Oshkosh Symphony, Manitowoc Symphony, and Green Bay Symphony and performs on cello in small and large ensembles with the Oshkosh Chamber Singers, and other area ensembles. Nancy has collaborated with musicians on recordings and CD’s in a variety of styles. Nancy has a master of music degree from Western Illinois University and received her undergraduate bachelor of music degree from UW- Oshkosh.

Yuliya Smead, Violinist
Yuluya Smead is not only a violin instructor but also currently Concertmaster of the Fox Valley Symphony and the Oshkosh Symphony Orchestra and was Assistant Concertmaster of the Green Bay Symphony Orchestra. She moved to the United States in 1999 from Ukraine. While in Ukraine, she was Concertmaster of the State Chamber Orchestra Trembita and Symphony Leopolis. She was a two-time winner of the Young Talents State Competition and a second prize winner of the Gitaralia competition in Poland. She appeared as a soloist with the Lviv Philharmonia Orchestra, the Symphony Leopolis in Ukraine and Belgium, the Russian Chamber Orchestra, and with the Oshkosh Symphony and Manitowoc Symphony. Yuliya played first violin with the Ensemble of Modern Music Cluster for 5 years. Yuliya holds a B.A. in violin performance and pedagogy from Ternopil State College of Music and master and doctoral degrees, both cum laude, from Lysenko Lviv State Conservatory in Ukraine.

John 'Roby' Robinson, Guitarrist
Roby has been an active guitarist since the 1980s. He has performed as an energetic leader and member of several musical groups and bands, assisted with retreats and supported special functions. He currently assists with accompanying groups at St. John’s Nepomucene Catholic Church in Little Chute, WI. He is available to co-perform with a keyboardist, vocalist, and/or other musicians.
